FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
"AMATEUR MUSIC AWARDS - THE ELEE'S - AT UNITED IN TORONTO 2005"
Join your industry friends as they listen to the sounds and witness the talents of some of our own as the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation conducts the elevator industry's Amateur Music Awards - "THE ELEE'S" - on Monday, September 26, 2005 at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto, Canada.
The Joint Leadership 2005 Team of United in Toronto consisting of CECA (Canadian Elevator Contractors Association, NAEC (National Association Elevator Contractors), NAESAI (NAESA International), and NAVTP (National Association Vertical Transportation Professionals) has graciously granted the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation this opportunity to raise funds while entertaining conferees.
Four very talented acts have committed to perform. You will not want to miss the outstanding performances by Bobby Defrancesco (Benfield Electric Supply Corp.), Bobby Schaeffer and daughter Kristen (D & D Elevator), Bob Caporale (Elevator World) and The Mathis Family (Ashville Elevator). EESF would like to have at least one representative from each of the four hosting organizations in the competition. We are still looking for talent from NAESAI, NAVTP and CECA. Do you have a hidden talent or know of someone who does? Let us hear from you!! Join the fun from the stage. EESF will provide two free tickets to individuals who suggest a performer that is accepted. Contestants will receive free tickets as well. Call the Foundation to enter or suggest a participant for the competition.
The performances will be spread throughout the 1 ½ -hour party and a winner will be crowned. Competition is expected to be high-spirited - so please come and support your association representative. The early start time and shortened time will allow participants to plan dinner at Toronto's fine restaurants.
Proceeds from this event will go to help support the mission of the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation, which includes:
Reaching nearly half a million children with the Safe-T Rider program this school year.
